Biomekkanik (S)

Info

(http://dansemacabre.de/release/biomekkanik-violently-beautiful/) Tracing many years of experience with electronic music, both as a band member and as a producer, Christer Hermodsson brings together in his experience from bands such as S.P.O.C.K and Sista Mannen På Jorden, coupled with the harsher and heavier sound from producing bands like And One, Cat Rapes Dog and Mr Kite. His debut album “State of perfection” was released in 2009. The album climbed the German alternative chart DAC and placed itself for a total of four weeks at the #2 spot.
Since then Biomekkanik has gone from being a solo project to a band adding guitar player Mattias
Johansson and Andreas Ingefjord on keyboard and backing vocals. Mattias comes from the industrial metal scene and has been touring the US with his band Project Grudge. Andreas is mostly known for his work in the Scandinavian burlesque scene both as a performer and an organizer. Together they form a strong unit with plenty of stage experience. The growing list of club shows played across Europe contains highlights as supporting act for VNV Nation, Nitzer Ebb and Vive la fete as well as performances at WGT and ElectriXmas.
Biomekkanik was also the first ”real” band to perform live at the renowned techno club Tresor in Berlin 2015-01-10 the wait for a second album is now coming to an end! Its name serves as a TOC of the songs. It’s their very own mix of electro and rock, with one of the strongest voices of the genre Christer Hermodsson to guide the listener through the journey. The temper driven, angst ridden layout of the music sets a certain cinematic mood to accompany the lyrics. Lyrics that continues where “State of perfection” left of, still containing political and religious criticism but now setup in a perhaps imaginary world; The long forgotten future
